Katrina graduated from Monash University and has been a General Practitioner in the Bayside area for 15 years. While she is interested in all aspects of Family Medicine, Katrina has a special interest in Women’s and Children’s Health, in particular pregnancy care. Katrina is a registered Shared Care Provider with Sandringham Hospital and Monash Health (Monash and Dandenong Hospitals). Katrina is able to perform minor surgical procedures such as the removal of skin lesions, as well as Implanon insertion. Katrina also has an interest in the care of the elderly and management of chronic health conditions. She regularly visits 3 local residential aged care facilities. She has two sons and an assortment of pets. Any spare time she can find is spent escaping to the beach and enjoying the shenanigans of family life! General Practitioner, Male, MBBS, FRACGP
Peter has spent 30 years as a GP in Bayside area, having taken 15 months away from the area in that time to work in the Murray as a country doctor. With training at Monash University, Dandenong, Mildura plus The Royal Children’s Hospital as well as the RACGP Family Medicine Program. Peter is experienced in all aspects of medicine at any age. Seeing children is the highlight of his day and his reputation for a consistent supply of jelly beans is well deserved! Peter has numerous daily appointments set aside for patients aged 15 and under to ensure same day treatment, given the importance of healthcare at these ages. He is skilled at skin lesion removal. Peter’s wife Tracey also works as a GP and their 3 children are grown up. Once a keen tennis player and swimmer, unfortunately injuries meant he had to quit both. Peter also enjoyed playing golf to a handicap of 10, until family priorities took over. He is currently a weekend warrior lycra wearing cyclist. Educating and engaging patients about their health is Peter’s passion. He is always happy to see new faces and new families. Areas of interest: • Palliative care • Skin lesions • Paediatrics

General Practitioner, Male, MBBS
Richard graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1979. He chose to specialise in General Practice and to gain maximum experience worked in country hospitals for four years. To top off his training he worked at Caulfield Hospital in their Geriatric ward prior to beginning private practice in Cheltenham Medical Centre in 1986. His medical interests include Geriatrics (he cares for over 40 patients in three aged care facilities), musculoskeletal problems and people with stress and anxiety. He enjoys minor surgery and has cured many ingrown toenails. Ryszard has three children. He is a passionate St Kilda supporter, attending most of their Melbourne matches. He also enjoys tennis and bike riding and regularly jogs. Ryszard has a great interest in passing on his experience to medical students and trainee doctors as they are the future General Practitioners. Farah completed her medical degree in Trinity College Dublin in Ireland and has a diverse background in various medical fields. Before relocating to Australia, Farah gained extensive experience in Malaysia, working in departments such as Paediatric Surgery, Paediatrics, and General Practice. She then honed her skills in the Emergency Department at Austin Health for several years before starting her General Practice training. Areas of interest: • Paediatrics

GP Registrar, Male, MBBS (Hons)
Dr Michael Cahill graduated from Monash University in 2019, and after an initial rural internship at Albury Wodonga Health, Michael returned to Monash Health in 2020. Michael spent the last four years as an emergency medicine registrar with Monash Health, involved with the management of all presentations, from paediatrics to geriatrics, broken bones to acute life-threatening issues. He now looks forward to expanding his skills to serve the broader community. Additionally prior to training in Medicine Dr Cahill worked as a medical scientist in multiple pathology labs across Victoria and NSW. His favourite pastimes usually involve playing with his two young cheeky Daughters, Food in all its forms, books, movies, but looks forward to enjoying longer walks that GP lifestyle hopefully offers (and the lack of overnight shifts).

Stephanie graduated from the University of New England, Joint Medical program in 2019. She completed her hospital training on the Central Coast of NSW where she cared for complex patients across multiple specialty fields including General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics. Stephanie is currently working at Cheltenham Medical Centre as a GP Registrar and has broad interests including preventative health, Women and children's health and minor surgical procedures.

Emma completed her medical degree at Deakin University, which included placements in regional and rural medicine. Her hospital training included time at Eastern Health, Werribee Mercy, Bairnsdale Regional Health and Monash Health. This included extensive experience in paediatric and neonatal medicine and in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has completed the Sydney Child Health Program in Paediatrics and the Certificate of Women's Health. Emma enjoys all aspects of General practice and takes a holistic approach. She enjoys working with people of all ages and from all walks of life. Outside of work, you'll find Emma playing netball, cooking new recipes, and spending time with her Golden Retriever, Charlie.
